We are interested in developing soft micro/nano robots that can provide desired functions and properties to realize intelligent characteristics of advanced engineering systems for healthcare science. We are working to engineer biomimetic shape programmable soft micro/nano robots that possess unique capabilities including highly sensitive and selective environment-awareness in response to external stimuli such as heat, pH, light, even biological bacteria, and DNAs.
We believe, this study of intelligent materials and micro/nano robotic systems can contribute to providing a new platform for mechanical manufacturing and advanced engineering systems in healthcare science.
