U.S. Department of Energy의 장기발전계획에 관한 미국 의회 보고서(Congressional Research Service Report for Congress) 2건에 대한 분석을 의뢰합니다.
1. Department of Energy: Programs and Reorganization Proposals (53쪽, 7659.tif)
Abstract :
The Department of Energy(DOE) is currently the subject of reorganization legislation, because of concern about the security of its nuclear weapons program. This report, a revision of an earlier CRS review of DOE programs, consists of an introductory discussion of the agency and its mission as a whole, and a description of its major programs as independent entities. The report analyzes the effect of proposed legislation on the nuclear weapons program; on the original mission of the department-enhancing energy security; and on DOE's energy R&D, basic research and environmental restoration programs. The report will be updated as events warrant.
2. Research and Development Budget of the Department of Energy for FY2000: Description and Analysis(33쪽, 7656.tif)
Abstract :
This report provides a detailed overview of the FY2000 DOE budget request for civilian and national security R&D programs. The report presents descriptions of each of the R&D programs and a discussion of the highlights of the FY2000 request and congressional action on that request. The report also includes discussions and analyses of several issues that may come up during those budget deliberations. This report should be useful for staffers following the DOE budget and those who need an overview of DOE's R&D activities
