본 6IHPS(Internation Heat Pipe Symposium)는 2년마다 개최되는 heat pipe 관련 국제 학술대회로써, 올해 11월 5일부터 9일까지 태국 치앙마이에서 개최되었습니다.
IHPS는 Japan Association for Heat Pipes(일본 히트파이프 학회)에서 주관하는 학술대회로 Heat pipe의 가장 큰 국제 학술대회입니다.올해에는 약 250명의 히트 파이프 전문가들이 참가하였습니다.
특히 한국에서는 학교 및 연구기관에서는 캐나다 오타와 대학의 이영 교수님, 경상대의 서정세 교수님, 대진대의 조동현 교수님, 부경대의 김종수 교수님, 한규일 교수님, 성균관대의 김철주 교수님, 한국과학기술연구원의 이윤표 박사님, 한국에너지연구소의 박기호 선임연구원, 한국항공대의 부준홍 교수님 등이 참석하셨고, 산업체에서는 에이팩(APACK)의 김광수 박사님, 대흥기업의 강환국 박사님 등이 참석하셨습니다.
저도 본 학회에 참석하여 Oscillating heat pipe에 관한 논문을 발표하였습니다.
