HCV 국제학회와 더불어 지금까지 본 학회에 대한 리뷰가 없어왔던 것이 계기가 되어 학회 보고서 신청을 하게 되었으며, 이 보고서를 통해 국내의 연구자들에게 좋은 정보를 제공할 수 있거라 생각됩니다. 국내에서는 임상연구를 중심으로 이루어지고 있기에 기초과학 분야에 대한 접하기 힘든 귀중한 정보를 공유할 수 있다고 생각합니다. 바이러스 자체에 대한 이해를 시작으로 한 기초분야와 항암제 개발, 새로운 모델에 대한 연구에 대한 최신 정보를 공유할 수 있다고 보기에 본 학회의 보고서 작성을 신청합니다. 현재, 간암을 유발하는 가장 큰 원인 바이러스로 알려져 있기에 임상연구에도 물론 활용할 가치가 보입니다.
