With the success of the past conferences Collaborative Conference on 3D & Materials Research (3DMR) 2011 held in Jeju island, South Korea, 2012 held in Seoul, South Korea , 2013 in Jeju island, South Korea, and 2014 in Incheon/Seoul, South Korea, CCMR 2015 will continue providing interdisciplinary forum for the open communication in understanding physical, chemical, and biological materials of any compositions and morphologies, including carbon nanotubes, graphene, nanoparticles, nanowires, and quantum dots. Materials research, the sciences and technologies for the generation, processing, and fabrication of materials, is where disciplines merge and where they diverge into a remarkable range of applications from electronics to health care that touch, or will soon touch, the lives of millions.

CC3DMR 국제학술대회는 2011년부터 매년 6월에 정기적으로 열리며, 보통 30여개국(일본,중국,한국,타이완,싱가폴,영국, 독일, 프랑스, 벨기에, 네덜란드, 이탈리아, 스위스, 스페인, 폴란드, 체코, 호주,뉴질랜드,미국,캐나다, 러시아, ,...)에서 300여명이 참석하며, 논문 채택률은 대략 70% 정도입니다.

CC3DR 국제학술대회는 매년 한국에서 개최되는 거대한 모임으로서 3차원 영상과 재질의 전분야의 최근 연구 결과를 발표하고 논의하는 매우 중요한 학술행사입니다. 본인은 이 학술행사에 2011년 첫 모임부터 매년 참석하여 논문도 발표하고 연구에 필요한 최신 연구 동향과 정보를 수집해 왔습니다. 한국에서도 이 모임에 참석하는 전문가들이 꽤 많지만, 일본이나 독일 등 선진국에 비해 아직도 국내 참석자 수는 상당히 적은 편이다. 따라서 CC3DR 국제학술대회 참가보고서를 통해 이 학술행사를 국내의 여러 전문가들에게 널리 알리고, 3차원 영상 분야의 더 많은 사람들이 이 행사에 참여하여 귀중한 기술 정보를 습득할 수 있는 기회를 만들어 주고 싶습니다.
