It is a long standing tradition of the ETFA conference series to cooperate with the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society and therefore also the 2015 event is co-sponsored by this IEEE society.
This year the event is held for the first time in Luxembourg and co-sponsored by the University of Luxembourg and its Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT). Founded in 2003, the University of Luxembourg is the first and only university of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and also one of the youngest universities in Europe. Multilingual, international and research-oriented, it is also a modern institution with a personal atmosphere. Currently, more than 6000 students originating from 107 different countries are studying at the University which offers 11 Bachelor and 32 Master programs as well as doctoral education and doctoral schools.
The creation of SnT (2009) should be seen in the context of the government’s strategy to raise the competitiveness of Luxembourg and diversify the country’s economy, notably towards the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) sector, also comprising Automation and Robotics.
ETFA2015 offers a high quality technical program featuring 3 keynote and 2 plenary sessions as well as a panel discussion on the “Prospects for the Growth of Hi-tech Startup Industry Sector in Europe”, interesting and important satellite events to include the Industry Day, and an attractive social program with the banquet dinner on a boat on the Moselle river. 본인은 임베디드 시스템의 실제 적용 사례에 관심이 많으며,
임베디드 시스템 가상화에 관해 연구 중이다. 최근 연구 결과 중 하나를 본 학회에 투고하여 채택이 되었으며 학회 중 가상화 관련 논문을 발표할 예정이며 결과물 데모도 함께 전시할 예정이다.
본 학회 참석을 통해 세계 여러 기관과 관련 연구자들에게 국책과제로 수행한 연구의 내용을 홍보할 수 있는 기회가 될 수 있을거라 예상한다.
그리고 산업 분야의 현재 트렌드를 수집하고 앞으로 과제의 결과물을 산업 시스템 분야 에 어떻게 적용할 수 있을지 파악할 수 있는 기회 될 수 있을 거라 본다.
