IEEE-RIVF 국제학술대회는 18개월마다 베트남에서 열리는 행사로서, 베트남을 비롯한 미국, 카나다, 프랑스, 영국, 호주, 일본, 홍콩 등 10여 개국에서 정보통신 분야의 전문가들이 참여합니다. 이 학술대회에 선정된 논문은 IEEE Xplore에 실리기 때문에 논문선정율은 50% 이하입니다.
The RIVF 2016 is the 12th conference in this series. The conference is hosted by ThuyLoi University and held from 07 to 09 November 2016 in Ha Noi, Vietnam. It continues to offer an opportunity for researchers and innovators to discuss problems, share results, identify emerging issues, and establish academic collaborations in various disciplines of computing and communications. Accepted papers will be published in the main conference proceedings registered with IEEE Xplore and referenced in international libraries.
Started in 2003, RIVF has become a major scientific event for researchers in the field of Computing and Communication Technologies, not only in Vietnam but also worldwide. In the past, the conference series were held at Institut Francophone International, Ha Noi (2003, 2004), Can Tho University (2005), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (2006), Ha Noi University of Science and Technology (2007), Ho Chi Minh City University of Science (2008), Da Nang University of Technology (2009), Ha Noi National University of Science (2010), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (2012), Ha Noi National University of Engineering and Technology (2013), and Can Tho University (2015).
The acceptance rate for the papers to be printed in the main IEEE procs and put in IEEE Xplore is 50%. According to IEEE policy, we cannot accept more than 50% of submissions for IEEE Xplore and procs.

IEEE-RIVF 국제학술대회에 참여하여 정보통신 분야의 새로운 연구 내용을 파악하여 이를 국내 전문가들에게 알리고, 이 분야의 외국 전문인력을 발굴하여 국내로 초청하여 국제적인 학술교류 활동을 도모할 생각입니다. 저는 RIVF 국제학술대회에 5년전부터 지속적으로 참여하여 논문을 발표했으며, 이번 RIVF 국제학술행사의 프로그램 공동의장을 맡고 있습니다.
