본 학회는 매년 개최되는 미국내 국방관련 최대 학회로서, 올해는 애너하임에서 2017. 4. 9 ~ 13일에 개최됩니다.
올해는 defense+security와 Commercial + Scientific Sensing and Imaging가 같이 열립니다.

연구분야는

Radar and LiDAR, Sensor Data and Information Exploitation

등으로 광학관련한 분야를 망라하고 있으며, Commerical sensing and imaging 학회도 대부분은 imaging 영역을 다루고 있습니다.

올해는 약 1,800개의 논문과 380개의 전시업체가 참가 할 예정이라 합니다.

본인은 defense분야에 관련된 업무를 수행중이며
Target recognition 관련하여 구두로 논문을 발표합니다.

이에 LIDAR, 3D imaging, NG-Sensor, Hyperspectral imaging 분야에 관련한
연구동향 및 시장동향을 파악하고자 합니다.

특히, 국방분야와 민수분야를 서로 결합시킬수 있는 연구와 상업적으로 이용되고 있는 이미징 기술에 대해서
작성하고자 합니다..
