IEEE NetSoft 학회는 올해로 세 번째로 열리는 학회로써, 2017년에는 이탈리아의 University of Bologna에서 개최될 예정이다. IEEE NetSoft는 Cloud Computing, Software Defined Networks, Network Function Virtualization 등 네트워크의 소프트웨어화를 목표로 열리는 IEEE의 메이저 학회로써, SDN/NFV 분야의 다양한 연구들이 소개될 것으로 기대된다. IEEE NetSoft의 논문채택률은 2015년 15.7퍼센트 (17편 채택/108편 제출), 2016년 18.7퍼센트(20편 채택/107편 제출)였다.

IEEE NetSoft 학회는 SDN/NFV 분야 대표적인 IEEE 국제학회로써, SDN/NFV 관련 다양한 산학연의 최신 연구 동향을 파악할 수 있는 학회이다. 신청자 역시 NetSoft와 함께 개최되는 OSSN 워크숍에 논문 발표예정이며, 본 학회에서 발표되는 연구논문들을 중심으로 SDN/NFV/Cloud Computing 관련 연구동향 등을 소개하고자 한다.
