마이크로니들은 최소침습적 성질을 이용하여 조직 내 적용 시 통증 및 상처를 최소화하면서 기타 다른 약물전달에 비해 높을 효율로 약물을 전달하는 기술이다. 이러한 장점을 바탕으로 다양한 개발기술로 마이크로니들이 제작되고 있으며 현재 경피적 약물전달 분야를 중심으로 임상적 적용이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 분석물을 통해 독자들이 마이크로니들 개념을 정립하고, 이를 통해 추후 연구 저변 확대에 큰 도움이 될 것이다.
