Metabomeeting은 Metabolic Profiling Forum (MPF)에서 주최하는 학회로 유럽전역 그리고 미국에서 많은 대사체학 연구자들이 매년 참석하는 국제학회이다. 올해 11회째 학회를 맞이하고 있으며,
International Metabolomics Scociety의 학회위원장 및 학회 위원으로 활동하고 있는 여러 연구자들을 비롯하여 Metabolomics 저널의 편집위원장과 같은 저명한 인사들도 학회에 참석하여 발표와 토론을 할 예정이다.

올해는 Metabolic Profiling Forum의 Director로 활동하고 있는 신청자 본인이 노팅험에서 열리는 학회를 직접 organising하고 있어 현재 대사체학의 동향과 여러 새러운 기술들을 더 빠르고 정확하게 전달할 수 있는 좋은 기회라고 생각합니다. 그 이외에도 대사체학 분야에서 저명한 연구자들과 개인적 또는 협력 관계로서 친분이 있으므로 대사체학의 세계적인 동향을 쉽게 파악할 수 있으리라 생각됩니다.
