FORUM ENGELBERG, RISK AND SAFETY OF TECHNICAL SYSTEMS IN VIEW OF
PROFOUNDED CHANGES(99, 3, 23-26)는 새로운 이상과 전략 발전을 위해서
여러분야에 걸치는 포럼을 제공하며,그 구성은 다음과 같다.
1. Plenary sessions
a. Unresolved issues and new or anticipated risks
b. Lessons to be drawn from past and present experience
c. Current threats to safety and possible future approaches
d. Conclusions, perpedtives and initiatives
2. Round Tables
a. Are we focusing on the most relevent safety issues?
Is there a basis for comparison?
b. What are the new guiding principles and paradigms?
Are there fresh ways of dealing with them?
3. Workshop on Specific Issues
a. Finding the balance between safety and economic presures
b. Etablishing adequate standards: building up of early warming systems
c. Decision-making and commuinication processes
d. Contributions to solving scientifically controversial problems
e. Roles and responsibilities of different groups(media, organization,
experts, etc)
4.Ministerial Day
a. Need for new forms of regulating a dereulated world
5.Fireside Talks
a. These inclued the presentation of industrial accomplishments
or projects related to the theme which will proved the central point
of a free debate led by the prepresident of each Fireside Talk.
