Introduction
More than that, the people at Calvert Cliffs have worked to preserve and enhance the environment around them. Thousands of acres around the plant have been set aside as wildlife habitat-a place where owls, deer, endangered tiger beetles, osprey and even bald eagles live without fear of human intrusion.
Calvert Cliff's site covers about 2,300 acres overlooking the Chesapeake Bay-Most of this scenic site is just the way the clavert cliffs' peolple found it. And with their protetive care, perhaps it can stay just that way for years to come.
That's good news for the local wildlife, and for all who value the land's special beauty.
