In September 1999 a Team Inspection was carried out by HSE into the control and supervision of operations at BNFL's Sellafield site. The scope of the inspection was limited to the reprocessing and waste management facilities at Sallafield, and specifically excluded the Calder Hall Magnox reactors. HSE's report was published on 18 February 2000 and contained 28 recommendations
HSE's report required us to respond within two months by submitting a programme to address the report's recommendations. This document seets out our response and is entitled "Going forward safely".
