World Energy Outlook
2000 Edition
The International Energy Agency's World Energy Outlook has become the authoritative sourece for medium-term projections of the world's energy future. It is also, by a wide margin, the IEA's most widely read publication. Its projections of energy demand and supply, and ofclimate-destabilising carbon dioxide emissions, underpin energy policy analysis in IEA Member states and many others. This year's Outlook presents probable developments from now to the year 2020. It also represents an important methodological advance.
