The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is requesting $14.04 billion for FY2001. This report provides an overview of the NASA budget request by major program area. It includes a discussion of the general functions of each of those programs and highlights of activities planned for FY2001. It also presents an analysis of key issues that could be considered by Congress as it reviews NASA’s FY2001 request.
