Innovation & Technology는 개혁 프로그램에 의해 영어, 프랑스어, 독일어로 연 6회 발행한다. 프로그램의 목적은 유럽의 하부구조 개혁을 강화하고, 연구결과를 산업에 적용하는 것을 촉진하는 것이다. -Indicate before overtaking : How good is Europe's scientific and technical performance? How does it compare with the performance of other regions? How should public funding be allocated in order to make technology work for the economy, for jobs, and society as a whole? -A European technology transfer community : The results of the third and final call for technology validation and technology transfer projects were published mid-February. This provides an opportunity to review participation in such projects under the Fourth Framework programme as a whole. -Biotechnology : Is the tide turning in Europe's favour? To date, Europe has largely failed to convert its world-calss bioscience into world-beating commercial biotechnologies. But there are signs that the situation is improving. -Parallel lives Early in 1997, the ESPRIT programme launched a network of 20 technology transfer nodes(TTN)across Europe, to promote the take-up of high-performance computing and networking(HPCN) technology, especially among SMEs. A year later, the initiative is bearing its first fruit.
