Web Application Server 에 대한 자료를 찾고 있습니다.
Internet을 뒤져보았으나 그다지 쓸모있는 자료를 찾지 못해 이렇게 Info Request에 글을 올리게 되었습니다.
Web Application Server 란 개념 자체가 표준화된 것이 아니라, 각 개발업체에서 임의로 정의해 사용하고 있기 때문에 어려움이 있지않나 생각합니다.
그래서 inprise, oracle, ibm, silverstream, bluestone, pervasive, bea 등 각 개발 업체에서 만든 Web Application Server에 대한 자료와 Benchmarking 자료 등이 있으면 좋을 텐데...
이런 자료들도 KORDIC에서 구할 수 있는 지는 잘모르겠지만, 하여튼 부탁합니다.

Hi, perhaps you may already have found the answer you are looking for, but better late than never. You can find information on web application servers from www.yahoo.com and www.ibm.com by search on the word 'web application server'. Other sites are www.sybase.com, www.coldfusion.com. The current trend is implemening 'N-tier' application servers. The tiering consists of a presentation layer, a business layer , and a database layer. The term 'application server' refers to specialist function performed by a process and if the process serves web interface then it is called 'Web application server'. I hope this helps.
