The implementation of this philosophy resulted in a number of special tools being developed. The ROV tools are designed to be fitted to and operated by a range of work ROVs. The most advanced ROV tool package is for operation and control of the Pull-in and Connection Tool (PIC) for the Snorre export pipelines.
