TN은 Technical Note의 약자고, D는 Document 겠죠. 8044는 어떤 규칙이 있는 지는 모르겠지만 일련번호일 겁니다. 다른 예를 들면 NASA TM-1111은 나사의 Technical Memorandum 1111번이라는 뜻일 겁니다.
