    >SiO2, Al2O3 의 sol-gel process에 관해서 문의 드립니다. Papers: Preparation of sol-gel derived SiO2 and Al2O3 layers with designed nanoporosity. Ayral etc, Materials Transactions (2001), 42(8), 1641-1646. The sol-gel process was used to prep. nanoporous (typically micro- and mesoporous) supported layers from silica and alumina sols. The control of aging time for silica gel layers, the investigations of new alumina hydrosols, and the general use of removable templating mesophases are crucial parameters to produce layers exhibiting nonconventional porosity. Microstructure of Al2O3-SiO2 composite membranes prepared by sol-gel technique. Wei, Qi, Peop. Rep. China. Guisuanyan Xuebao (2001), 29(4), 392-396. Al2O3-SiO2 composite membranes were prepd. by sol-gel method. The influence of chem. compn. and sintering temp. on the phase compn., chem. structure and micropore structures of composite membranes were studied by XRD, FT- IR and BET. The results show that with decreasing SiO2, the phase compn. of the composite membranes sintered at 600°C changes from pure amorphous phase to coexistence of amorphous phase and nanometer-scale g-Al2O3 crystallites. The synthesis of unsupported Al2O3-SiO2 composite membranes has been achieved by controlling hydrolysis and condensation of aluminum iso-propoxide and tetra-Et silicate under acidic conditions.
