    >pBR322와 pUC19의 copy number의 차이가 왜 발생하는 것일까요??? >답변부탁드립니다. rop gene의 산물인 rop protein을 검색엔진에서 찾아보면 다음과 같은 설명을 찾을 수 있습니다. Repressor of primer (Rop) is a small dimeric protein that participates in the mechanism that controls the copy number of plasmid of the ColE1 family by increasing the affinity between two complementary RNAs. 실제로 pBR322유래의 rop 유전자를 ColE1 유래의 High-copy vector에 삽입하게 되면 low-copy로의 전환이 가능합니다.
