무기재료연구실(마이크로연료전지 연구실)

From 1987, we have researched several topics including New inorganic materials, Inorganic-organic composites for various research fields. Recently, we are focusing on topics in petro-chemistry process and energy areas (fuel cell application and systems).

 New inorganic materials, Inorganic-organic composites
Inorganic materials such as TiO2 as a photocatalyst , zeolite, HPAs, Perovskites .... are widely studied to apply to various research and industrial fields because of their chemical, mechanical and thermal properties. The property and morphology of the inorganic material and also Inorganic-organic composites were modified for the usage of catalyst, membrane, solid state materials...

 Fuel Cell applications
For the PEM fuel cell system, catalyst, membrane and the operation are the main issue to improve the performance and stability. Modified CNF/ACF using N-doping was used as PEMFC cathode catalyst was developed to obtain a better activity and stability. The fabrication method of the polymer for membrane to improve mechanical properties and thermal stability was electrospinning by utilizing inorganic nanoparticles as a inorganic proton conductor. The catalyst and button cell composition of the Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) considered as future green energy.

 Electrochemical evaluation system

 Petro-chemistry process
Petro-chemistry processes are an important part for production of chemical compounds and energy from petroleum. Catalyst , Ceramic membrane and using its petro-chemical processes were developed.
