The revealing of human genome sequences promises an unprecedented potential for new discoveries in biomedical research. Our research focuses are the determination of 3D protein structures by X-ray crystallography and the development of a detection method for protein-protein/portein-DNA interactions using the biosensor technique. The endeavor requires coordinated efforts from a number of di sciplines including molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, bionanochemistry, bioelectrochemistry, functional biology, and structural biology.
