POSTECH Two Phase Flow Laboratory was founded in 1987. Research and development activities focus on numerical and experimental researches on the two-phase flow and the phase change heat transfer. In 1999, this laboratory was selected as a National Research Laboratory (NRL). In 2007, this laboratory established Fuel-cell Water management Global Research Center (FWGRC). Principal research area - Phase change heat transfer : condensation and boiling. - Heat transfer with nano-fluid
- Two-phase flow and heat transfer in microchannel using MEMS technique. - Study on fuel-cell : water management. - Measurement technique using Neutron-Radiography (NR) and X-ray Radiography. - Study on heat exchangers with supercritical CO2. - Nuclear power plant thermal-hydraulics and safety. - Construct theory.
