Integrated Tissue Engineering (ITEL)

ITEL research interests focus on cell and tissue engineering and their applications to medical and environmental fields. Recent projects include: 1) In vitro model of micro-biomechanics in breast tissue & phenotypic reversion in breast cancer. 2) Cyclic equibiaxial deformation-induced inflammation and airway remodeling. 3) Alternative estimation of human exposure of nano-materials. 4) Applications of nanomaterials in tissue engineering. 5) Enhanced productivity of recombinant protein using small molecule enhancers.
