Bioinformatics and Synthetic Biology lab aims to characterize and engineer the cellular regulatory networks by integrating system-wide biological information with computational analysis and experimental validation. The characterized regulatory modules and their key molecules are our targets for engineering various cellular functions. Currently, we are studying the significant regulating components in complex diseases like cancer and metabolic diseases, and key biological functions like cell differentiation and neural functions. To facilitate our goal, we strategically combine the methodologies in the fields of “Bioinformatics”, “Systems Biology”, “Structural Biology” and “Synthetic Biology”.
