Broad research interests of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) laboratory at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) lie in development of new techniques for MR image acquisition, processing, and analysis, and their applications to physiological, functional, and clinical studies. We have focused on imaging of blood vascular anatomy, blood vascular physiology, tissue metabolism, and brain function (fMRI). Combination of these technical developments can make big differences in understanding baseline and functional brain physiology and also diagnosis / prognosis of brain diseases.
Anyone interested in joinging the lab as undergraduate students, graduate students, or post-docs should contact Prof. Sung-Hong Park (sunghongpark@kaist.ac.kr).
