Laboratory for information and control systems

LiCS studies systems in which information flows and decisions are made. Specifically, we try to understand networked systems of autonomous agents (e.g., team of unmanned aerial/ground robots) and information gathering process out of complex environment. Estimation, control, robotics, and optimization theories are the key technical tools we utilize to understand these systems.

Application systems we are working with include: unmanned aerial vehicles, autonomous ground robots, wireless sensor networks, multi-function radars, air traffic management systems, and environmental sensing systems.

? Research Area 1: Robust decision making for multi-agent systems

? Research Area 2: Information gathering for large-scale systems

? Research Area 3: Resource management for power-aware systems

? Research Area 4: Estimation, control, and optimization theories
