ETT laboratorys main research activities are devided by two groups, electromagnetic wave theory and RF system development.
In the electromagnetic wave theory group, research activities are wave propagation prediction for next generation mobile system and DTV broadcasting using UTD (Uniform Geometric Theory of Diffraction), FDTD (Finite Difference Time Domain) analysis and design of RF headcoil for 3T MRI and EMI/EMC, so on.
In the RF system development group, research activities are development of the dual polarized array antenna for a satellite broadcasting and communication, and category 6 cable connector for a high speed multimedia communication.
Any member of the laboratory generally participates in one of the above groups, and faculty and students collaborate in carrying out research projects.
