Robust Design Engineering Lab
Welcome to the Robust Design Engineering Lab (RoDEL) at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea.
RoDEL was been founded in September, 1993 and turned out 67 alumni (26 Ph.D. and 41 M.S.) since. Currently(2010), there are 6 Ph.D. students and 8 M.S. students in RoDEL.
Our vision is to be the world best research group in design and developing creative products and systems that have never been imagined before. Based on this vision, our current research activities are focused on robust designing and the development of creative products and systems, with the aid of robust design methodologies such as Taguchi methodology. The current research areas are as follows:
