About US
Our research focuses are understanding and developing of materials used for nanodevices, such as nano/microelectronics, display devices, as well as flexible/printable devices.
Aim of our research is establishment of the failure mechanisms in causing reliability issues of devices, which is based on the deep understanding of microstructure and mechanical/electrical properties of materials. 3-D integrated circuits, Cu/low-k metallization, phase change RAM, and InGaZnO TFT have been covered.
In addition, we develop the optimum design and processes for flexible/printable devices based on in-depth study of microstructure. We also investigate electrical/mechanical issues of the flexible systems including conductivity, adhesion, fatigue behavior, and etc. To improve performances, we are developing the hybrid nano-composites using inorganic and organic materials.
Our works will broaden and deepen the understanding of reliability design, fabrication processes, and novel materials being essential for next-generation devices or information technology and energy
