We are interested in understanding the molecular basis of proteins that control the cell growth and proliferation from the aspects of cellular and structural biochemistry. In particular, we are aiming to (i) decipher the mechanism of the maintenance of genomic stability by tumor suppressor proteins and (ii) to understand the process of DNA damage signaling pathway. These studies will ultimately lead to develop anti-cancer drugs. We also working on proteins involved in aging, microRNA processing, and epigenetics.
