At the Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Laboratory, we are engaged in experimental and theoretical quests in studying and discovering novel quantum optical effects arising from quantum entanglement and atom-photon interaction. Examples of such effects include quantum non-locality, quantum imaging, electromagnetically-induced transparency, etc. We are also studying the use of these effects for Photonic Quantum Information Processing, Quantum Cryptography, and Quantum-Enhanced Imaging and Metrology.
