저희 랩에서는 폐암에서 항암제 내성 기전에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있으며, chemotherapy, 표적항암제 내성 세포주에서의 molecular signaling, phenotype의 변화를 in vitro로 확인하는 실험을 주로 진행하고 있습니다.
The research topic of our lab is: 1) to understand the process of carcinogenesis; 2) to develop novel and efficient chemopreventive strategies; and 3) to investigate the efficacy and action mechanisms of traditional as well as molecularly targeted anticancer therapies. It has been suggested that the tumor microenvironment-mediated drug resistance shields cancer cells from the effects of anticancer therapies, allowing the development drug resistance. Our research program aims at developing strategies that disrupt the interaction between tumors and their microenvironment by utilizing clinically available anticancer agents, natural products, and synthetic compounds in various in vitro and in vivo experimental models. Our major ongoing national and international research grants are as follows.
