The areas of research are most notably,
- Electrical, thermal and lifespan modeling
- Characterisation regarding performance, thermal measurement, ageing
- Post mortem analysis
First and foremost we are working on Lead-acid batteries, Lithium Ion batteries and supercapacitors, as well as other technologies e.g.
High temperature batteries, Nickel-Metal hydride batteries, Redox-Flow batteries, Metal-air batteries and new technologies.
