Nanoporous Technolohy Laboratory (NTL) mainly focuses on the development of nanoporous materials for use in energy- and environmental-related applications.
The nanoporous materials include metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), porous organic polymers, activated carbons, and zeolites, but special interest is given to MOFs due to their unique structural properties, including large surface area and tailorable chemistry.
Material syntheses and characterizations, adsorption and catalysis measurements and molecular modeling techniques are combined to develop a molecular-level understanding of adsorption and catalytic behaviors in the nanoporous materials.
