Thin films of nanostructures and low-dimensional materials are key ingredients of many devices including energy conversion devices including light emitting diodes, solar cells, batteries, water splitting cells, electronics including transistors and memories, chemical sensors including e-nose and e-tongue, and nanophotonics. Our research is focused on the design, control, and optimization of the nanostructures of inorganic/organic materials, such as metal oxides, 2D materials, and halide perovskites, to substantially improve the performance of the devices based on multiple thin films of nanostructures and low-dimensional materials.
