MOLECULAR THERMODYNAMICS LABORATORY
Molecular thermodynamics lab was established at the department of chemical engineering in Hanyang University in 1994.
Our research has been focused on the basic theories of the Molecular thermodynamics and performing various practical application researches.
We have analyzed the phenomena with calculation programming using thermodynamics theories, and computer simulation method on the molecular dynamic fields. The thermodynamics base theories are some equation of states and Lattice model to predict phase transition and phase equilibria. Application fields are phase equilibria of polymer solutions, gel swelling, properties of ionic liquids, and polymer electrolyte in solar cells and so on. Through these theories and simulation studies, we can propose the high technological research methods, which are based on the chemical engineering and have extensively application fields.
