Welcome to Multiscale Flow Lab.!
MFL stands for Multiscale (HEAT and FLUID) Flow Lab. We study a wide range of flows related to heat and fluid transport at various scales ranging from nano to macro scales. We utilize both experimental techniques and numerical simulation. Especially, we are interested in flow visualization using magnetic resonance velocimeter (MRV) as well as particle image velocimeter (PIV) and flow analysis using OpenFoam in addition to commercial software. The key applications of MFL studies include microfluidic chip development, cardiovascular flow analysis, engineering flow system design, etc. For detail, please click on RESEARCH on the top menu.
MFL consists of Prof. Simon Song, 10 excellent graduate students. now. Please feel free to contact or visit us anytime if you like to make your dream come true with us.
Thank you for visiting MFL.
