The mission of the Multi Energy Transport Laboratory (METLAB) is
to conduct fundamental and applied research on advanced
power generation systems that integrate heat and
mass transport processes: fuel cells, reformers and other advanced reactive systems.
Principal research areas cover electrochemical power generation systems
based on hydrogen energy technology. Researchers address
key issues that span the entire specrum, from low-level hardware
to grand-challenge applications, in a manner that
emphasizes both theoretical and applied research to bring to fruition
new concepts, models, techniques, and tools. Sponsors of research
in the lab include a broad range of govermental and industrial organizations
such as MOST, KRF, ADD, and Hyundai
Motor Company.
