Correlated electron system exhibits a wide variety of exotic quantum phenomena. Strong electron-electron interaction and coupling among charge, spin, orbital, and lattice degrees of freedom are the main cause of such novel phenomena. We study physical properties of various correlated electron materials by using infrared/optical spectroscopy techniques.
