2) Copolymerization of Epoxide and CO2: development of catalysts, copolymerization and mechanistic study
3) Copolymerization of Functionalized Olefins with Transition Metal Complexes: systematic ligand design of metallocenesand non-metallocenes complexes for olefin(s) (co) polymerization along with their mechanistic investigations
4) Development of New Synthetic Polymer: Synthetic polymer chemistry including from screening monomers to developing polymers as an optical material candidate.
These research topics include syntheses of organic, inorganic, organometallic complexes, characterization techniques including mechanistic probe such as UV/Vis, IR, NMR, and X-ray crystallography and polymerizations, in which detailed understanding of catalyst resting states, relative intermediates and microstructure of polymers should be elucidated.
