The field of computer-aided engineering and aerospace research includes the challenging problems encountered in the design of many types of MEMS, micro-machines, piezoelectric actuators, smart structures, automobile frames, aircraft, missiles, satellites, UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles), and submersible vehicles. For the design of these complicated mechanical and structural systems the advanced technology such as the Design Optimization combined with CAE tools (FEM, CAD), New Design Concepts, and Mechatronics is rigorously applied. The techniques developed here are by no means limited to various general engineering and electronic products.
