Main research topics in CSDL are SoC (System-on-a-Chip) design, hardware/software codesign, low-power design, design methodology and image processing. Recently, we are focusing on deep-learning hardware accelerator design,multi-valued logic circuit design, physical design optimization (3D-IC PDN, detailed routing and detailed placement), depth perception enhancement and system-level power/thermal management.
Currently we are looking for talented students who would like to work with us on CAD and SoC solution. Candidates with experience or interest in one or more of the following areas will be considered seriously.
- Digital signal processing, microprocessor, computer architecture
- Machine learning algorithms
- VLSI (very large scale integrated) circuits
- Hardware implementation on FPGA platforms
