About CVIP
Computer Vision and Image Processing (CVIP) was founded in 2019 by Professor Donghyeon Cho in the Department of Electronics Engineering, Chungnam National University. Our lab studies the latest technologies based on visual information. We are exploring all of the processes of obtaining visual information from real-world, analyzing that information to extract features, and producing the desired form of output. In addition to pure computer vision and image processing, we are studying comprehensive research on AI technologies and various multimedia.
The research topics of our lab include but are not limited to the following:
Computer Vision
- Image Classification
- Object Detection
- Binary Object Segmentation, Semantic Object Segmentation, Instance Object Segmentation
- Image-to-Image Translation
- Style Transfer
Image Processing
- Photo Editing
- Image Super-Resolution
- Image Deblurring
- Image Denoising
