광학 및 양자전자(빛의역학적 잡음특성); 여러 물리 분야에서 훌륭한 실험 도구가 되어온 레이저 빛의 특성중 고전적 근사로는 이해되지 않는 부분을 연구의 대상으로 한다. 불확정성 원리에 뿌리를 둔 빛의 양자역학적 특성을 실험으로 규명한다.
This group has studied various quantum information science experiments based on the spontaneous parametric down conversion process. This group developed homodyne detecting technique for quantum information science including quantum key distribution and optical quantum tomography. Recently this group focus on the high-purity quantum state generation using cascaded-beam-splitters with a squeezed state and two coherent state inputs.
