Our laboratory has studied on various topics relating to the power generation energy system. The research area ranges from conventional energy conversion system such as coal fired boiler and diesel engine to new advanced system including gasifier and direct coal fuel cell.
We are specialized on a variety of solid fuel and its mixture with electrolyte and carbon dioxide which are most abundant resources worldwide. To evaluating how such fuels would affect the thermal and electrochemical performances of the energy system, we are performing extensive theoretical analysis, experiment and numerical simulation.
