Our laboratory explores novel biologically active molecules that can be developed as a molecular probe to elucidate several biological functions related to currently issued diseases including cancer, Alzheimer, and Parkinson’s disease. Based on knowledge of organic chemistry, our group has developed labeling method of radioisotope and modified model compound to a adequate labeled compound with a reasonable pharmacophore model. Interdisciplinary our research program integrates concepts from medicinal chemistry, labeling chemistry, and organic ynthesis/methodology, which target new radiopharmaceuticals with the help of noninvasive imaging techniques for in vitro and in vivo characterization.
