A study on cancer cell invasion and the chemotherapy process with a three-dimensional dynamic multi-scale model
The current study of cancer cell invasion has mainly performed with the experimental approaches, and it has focused only on the taxis mechanism. These induce difficulties in cancer cell research due to the impractical expense and time. Hence, the development of a comprehensive cancer cell model that incorporates important mechanisms will lead the highly efficient cancer cell study. Therefore, we propose a three-dimensional dynamic multi-scale model that simulates cancer cell invasion and chemotherapy, which will allow us to develop prediction techniques based on the quantitative investigation of cancer cell invasion and the chemotherapy process.
